Bergara Kirol Elkartea has concluded a successful season for its three main teams, with the men's Honor Division team securing permanence, the women's team maintaining leadership, and the national youth team approaching salvation.

The Bergara Kirol Elkartea (BKE) closed a very positive day on Sunday, with the club extending congratulations to the fans who accompanied the teams on their travels. The men's Honor Division team secured its continuity in the category, their female counterparts continue unstoppable with new victories to approach promotion to the Basque League, and the national youth team won to try and remain another season in the autonomous category.
The team led by Iker Ruiz de Larramendi broke a negative streak without winning that had lasted since January 24, by defeating Orio. The three points obtained in Mendibeltz allow them to climb to eleventh place and leave relegation eight points away, with two matchdays remaining. The match against Orio was decided in a long extra time in the 99th minute with a goal from Luken Arriola Gutierrez. The first goal for Bergara, which equalized the early coastal team's goal, came in the 33rd minute through Asier Oñederra Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, the women's Honor Division team defeated Oiartzun 0-2 in a highly contested match during Sunday morning's session, where Nagore Nieto Fernandez's accuracy in front of goal in the 51st and 61st minutes decided the outcome. The players coached by Ortiz and Ugarte are not faltering in a challenging end to the season, maintaining their leadership and a three-point advantage over Intxurre. With promotion reserved only for the top team, the 'mahoneras' face a visit from third-placed Elgoibar next matchday, who will be tough competitors, and will conclude the championship at Intxurre's home, their direct rivals for the Basque League aspiration.
Also on Sunday morning, the BKE national youth team secured a narrow victory at the Areitio facilities against Eibar. Mikel Urteaga Ansola's goal in the 44th minute was decisive. Ten points accumulated in the last five matches have pulled Antolino's team out of the deepest part of the hole, but they still face the risk of relegation with one match remaining to be played at Agorrosin against Santutxu.
Two of the three relegation spots to the provincial category have already been assigned. Next weekend will determine which of the six at-risk teams will join them. Hernani and Bergara, with 41 points, are best positioned for permanence against Zarautz, Laudio, Tolosa, and Santutxu, who have 39 or 38 points. However, anything can happen on the complicated final matchday.
