Arrasate's sexology service will soon have a new mural, designed by artistic high school students from Arrasate Institute, with residents having the final say in choosing from four proposals.

This initiative is the result of collaboration between various individuals and entities, with the main goals of increasing the visibility of the sexology service and bringing a fresh perspective to its space. A key feature of the project is that the designs were created by artistic high school students from Arrasate Institute, and Arrasate residents will choose their favorite from four proposals.

"Anyone can come to ask questions."

the service manager
Currently, the person in charge of the service stated that in-person consultations are available on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Any Arrasate resident can approach with any doubts, curiosities, or difficulties, whether individually, as a couple, or in groups. Additionally, sex education is provided in local schools for Primary and Secondary students. Training sessions are also conducted with teachers and families, highlighting the significant activity throughout the week.
When asked about the profile of those who use the sexology service, the manager noted that most are couples, particularly between the ages of 30 and 50. Furthermore, it has become increasingly common for parents of students who have covered sexology in schools to seek assistance on how to discuss the topic. Among these, almost all are mothers.
The Councilor for Intergenerationality of the City Council emphasized that the decision will rest with the Arrasate residents. Beyond showcasing the students' work, the aim is to raise awareness of the sexology service, integrating it into the daily lives of Arrasate's inhabitants.
