The Arrasate City Council will open the Musakola outdoor pools this Wednesday between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with the collaboration of volunteer workers and the company BPX.

The City Council of Arrasate will open the Musakola outdoor pools this Wednesday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This measure has been made possible by the voluntary cooperation of several municipal workers and the support of BPX, the company responsible for the sports center's courses, which will provide lifeguard personnel.
Although the sports center was scheduled to be closed due to the San Juan festivities, the town's patron saint's day, the Council has decided to partially open the facilities in response to the red alert for high temperatures issued for these days.
The City Council reminded that, as it is a public holiday, municipal workers are entitled to a day off and therefore the institution cannot compel them to work. The opening was made possible after requesting volunteers from the staff, to which several employees responded positively.

"We want to express our sincere gratitude to all the municipal workers who have shown their willingness to collaborate and have responded positively to an exceptional situation. Although we have been working since Monday to make this option possible, we have also received numerous requests from citizens. Thanks to this, residents and families will have a place to cool off during the hottest hours, even if only for a few hours."

Only the outdoor aquatic area will be open; the dry area of the sports center will remain closed, as initially planned.
Furthermore, the closing time for water parks has been extended to 11:00 PM, both this Tuesday and tomorrow, due to the extreme heat situation.
