The town of Arrasate has organized an Anti-Repression Day for May 9th, featuring an extensive program that will combine denunciation, reflection, and a meeting point.

The events will begin at 11:30 AM at Kulturate with a round table discussion. Groups that have experienced repression in various forms, such as Indar Gorri, Yakovlev 42, and Azpeitia Errepresioaren Aurka, will participate. Following the round table, there will be a lively 'poteo' (bar crawl) through the town's streets.
At noon, at 2:00 PM, a popular meal will be held. Organizers anticipate around 50 attendees. Tickets for the meal will be available for purchase at the Osorik bar until May 8th. In case of bad weather, the meal will be relocated from Biteri square to the gaztetxe (youth cultural center).
In the afternoon, at 5:30 PM, concerts will begin in several bars: Hankaz Gora at Iturriotz, Izorrai at Osorik, and Ktartsia at Iluntz. Afterwards, at 7:00 PM, a demonstration will depart from Biteri square to advocate for a combative community. Later in the evening, at 8:30 PM, concerts will continue with Jotabe at Taupa and Txakurrak at Basati, and at 11:00 PM, Istilu, Lehen lerroa, and 112 will perform at the gaztetxe.

"For us, it is especially important to demonstrate that in Arrasate there is consciousness and strength against Repression. It is important to organize days like this, as we must fill our towns with demands beyond mere leisure."

the organizers
The organizers have emphasized that the current social situation is becoming more complex, exemplified by the rise in repression and the worsening living conditions of workers. Therefore, they consider it essential to spread awareness in Arrasate and offer support to those suffering repression, with the aim of building a combative community against injustices.
