The Amaña neighborhood festivities in Eibar will feature two prominent rock bands, Reincidentes and Def Con Dos, performing on July 3 as part of a comprehensive program combining music, gastronomy, and traditional activities.

The Amaña celebrations will proceed thanks to the organizational efforts of the committee and the individuals involved in their preparation. The booking of both bands represents one of the main attractions of these festivities, expected to draw audiences from the neighborhood itself, Eibar, and surrounding municipalities.
Reincidentes, formed in 1986, is one of the most recognizable protest rock bands from Andalusia, with over 20 albums and more than two thousand concerts. Their career has been built around a repertoire of direct rock and socially conscious lyrics. Meanwhile, Def Con Dos, established in 1989, pioneered Spanish hip hop and later evolved into rap metal, blending guitars, rhythmic bases, irony, and social critique, earning five gold and two platinum records.
Beyond the concerts, the organization is working on a broad program that will maintain the popular character of the festivities. Planned activities include open-air dances, paellas, gastronomic competitions, children's games, inflatable castles, and proposals designed for all ages. The aim is to preserve the neighborhood atmosphere and offer a calendar that combines participatory events, music, and coexistence.
One of the anticipated moments will be the adult tamborrada, which will take place thanks to significant organizational effort. Following its conclusion, the celebration will continue with the open-air dance, a regular event to extend the festive atmosphere into the night. The program will also retain traditional acts such as the tasting of broth and chorizo at the txosna, closely linked to the popular essence of the festivities.
Children will have their own dedicated space within the program, offering games, inflatable castles, and a chocolate party. Additionally, the festivities will include a performance by the clowns Pirritx eta Porrotx, leading figures in Basque children's entertainment, who combine humor, songs, theater, and values in their family-oriented shows.
