The PNV municipal group in Soraluze has put forward measures to revitalize the SAPA multi-purpose covered space and has simultaneously highlighted the lack of progress in the Pascual Churruca protected housing project.

The jeltzale party has requested both physical improvements to the SAPA space and a comprehensive activity program. Regarding infrastructure, they propose installing guillotine-style side enclosures for events or adverse weather, adapting the lighting system, and adding appropriate urban furniture.

"These actions will make it possible to take advantage of a space that is essential for our community, and we want to ensure that it is utilized to its fullest potential."

Furthermore, the PNV has called for an annual activity program, featuring events such as popular meals, concerts, theatrical performances, markets, and other gatherings to transform the SAPA space into a vibrant meeting point for all residents of Soraluze.

"These types of public spaces are fundamental for increasing the quality of life in the municipality, so we ask the local Government not only to fulfill the commitments made but also to act with speed and determination to turn SAPA into a lively, accessible, and useful place for everyone."

Concerning the Pascual Churruca protected housing project, the PNV has expressed concern over the lack of progress. This project, which involves the construction of 29 protected homes, began in 2018 with the purchase of the land. Despite an agreement with the Basque Government in 2021 for a 3.5 million euro investment and the demolition of the old factory in 2023, no visible advancements have been made.

"Soraluze cannot afford to keep waiting. There is a real need for protected housing and a project defined years ago, but there is a lack of will and management to get it started."
