The assembly, held in the morning, saw 234 workers participate, despite the company having a total workforce of 889 employees. The majority of the works council, comprising the ELA, LAB, and ESK unions, supports the continuation of the indefinite strike and does not endorse this vote.
“"The workforce consists of 889 members, and a large majority has not supported this vote."
During the two-hour meeting, participants answered two questions. Firstly, all were in favor of resolving the strike's continuation through a referendum. Secondly, they voted on the continuation of the indefinite strike itself, with 232 votes in favor of its suspension, one vote in favor of continuing, and one blank vote.
The conveners of the assembly have positively assessed the action, stating that they have given "a voice to 234 more workers than those on the picket lines".
