Prior to the commencement of the Otxomaio festivities, the Orduña City Council held the award ceremony for its poster competition. This event recognized various categories, highlighting the creativity of the younger participants.

In the sprout category, for those born between 2017 and 2020, the winner was Nahiane Iglesias Perez, with Ariane Perez Matellanes securing second place. In the children's category, for those born between 2013 and 2016, Hegoa Fernandez Murias was the top performer, and Itsaso Alava Remirez de Ganuza finished in second position.
