The Gardea festivities concluded at noon, starting with a performance by the Itxarkundia dance group. The main event was a tribute to a veteran resident of the neighborhood, who received recognition surrounded by family and hundreds of attendees.
Members of the Festivities Committee highlighted that the honored individual has resided in Gardea for over 70 years. They arrived in Laudio from Lugo (Galicia) and have been deeply involved in neighborhood life, particularly in church-related activities.
