The Aiaraldea Quadrille, in collaboration with regional cycling clubs, has organized the new I Aiaraldea Cyclotourist March, scheduled for May 31, 2026, with the goal of promoting sports and healthy lifestyles.

This initiative, which will start and finish in Artziniega, aims to establish itself as a permanent fixture in the region's sports calendar. The march will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Artziniega Cycling Association, giving special significance to the date.
The I Aiaraldea Cyclotourist is designed as a non-competitive cyclotourist march, open to traffic and intended for participants to enjoy the route and the surroundings in a sporting and camaraderie atmosphere. The itinerary will pass through the five municipalities that make up Aiaraldea, offering participants the opportunity to discover and enjoy the rich landscape of the region, with its natural scenery, valleys, and beautiful rural environments. There will be two refreshment points along the route, and another at the finish line. The use of an approved helmet will be mandatory throughout the event.
Registrations are now open and can be formalized through the official website of the Aiaraldea Quadrille. The registration fee is 25 euros for federated cyclists and 30 euros for non-federated cyclists. Detailed information on the route, regulations, and participation conditions is available on the same website.

"The I Aiaraldea Cyclotourist is much more than a sporting event; it is a demonstration of the collaboration between the Quadrille, cycling clubs, and the entire region to promote initiatives that encourage participation, healthy living, and the projection of Aiaraldea. We want to invite all cycling enthusiasts to enjoy a special day in a unique environment like ours."

With this initiative, the Aiaraldea Quadrille reinforces its commitment to the revitalization of the region through activities that combine sport, collaboration between local associations, and the promotion of the region's municipalities. The event is born from the joint work between institutions and the local sports network, consolidating itself as a new proposal that aims to become a benchmark event in cycling in Euskadi.
