Amurrio hosted the second edition of the Aiara Fest festival this past weekend, an event that offered an exceptional atmosphere and allowed for the observation of the attendees' enjoyment.

On Saturday, the local group Gwa Ya kicked off the program. After coming off stage, the band members shared their experiences and feelings with us, appreciating the warm reception from the audience.

This digital media outlet, developed within the Aiaraldea Ekintzen Faktoria project, works towards the normalization of the Basque language, promoting communication in this language within the region. A team of workers and volunteers strives daily for this community-based media.

The media is sustained by the economic contributions of its citizens, as grants and advertising are not sufficient to keep the project going. They reaffirm their commitment to citizen-based, diverse, and independent journalism, emphasizing that citizen support is essential for this endeavor.
