The duo of Arrizabalaga and Bertiz defeated the current champions, Goiuri Zabaleta and Itxaso Erasun, with a score of 22-20 in a tight match where they capitalized on an early significant lead (9-0).

Erasun initially struggled to adapt to the Berriz court, but her performance improved as the match progressed. Once the Navarrese and Gipuzkoan players stabilized, the game became more balanced, with ties at 16, 18, and 20 points.

Regarding the championship, Goiuri Zabaleta and Itxaso Erasun are the reigning champions. The player from Leitza and the one from Zizurkil will be in Group A, alongside Alday-Bergara, Arrizabalaga-Bertiz, and Ainhoa Ruiz de Infante-Zabala. Group B will consist of Etxegarai-Gaminde, Salsamendi-Mendizabal, Sagardui-Arrillaga, and Ibarrola-Capellán.

Each group will feature a round-robin league, with the top two combinations from each group advancing to the semifinals in Doneztebe. The San Fermín Tournament will visit various frontons, including those in Aretxabaleta, Tafalla, Derio, Usurbil, Berriz, Eskoriatza, Galdakao, Aranguren, Arrigorriaga, Ansoain, Burlada, and Zizurkil. The final is scheduled for July 11th at the Labrit fronton in Iruñea.
