The Tabirako Baqué women's senior team has been crowned Bizkaia champion, defeating Mungia and Oribeltza in the F4 held in Portugalete, securing their return to Second National.

The Tabirako Baqué women's senior special team has completed an excellent season, achieving 23 victories and 3 defeats, which allows them to return to Second National, a category from which they were relegated last year. In the F4 held in Portugalete, the team from Durango defeated Mungia in a hard-fought semifinal (68-60) and then triumphed over the host team Oribeltza from Portugalete in the final (53-39).
The team received great support from the Durango fans over both days, with people of all ages gathering at the local sports center. This new title adds to Tabirako's achievements this season, following the League and Cup successes of the men's 1st National team.
This weekend, it will be the turn of the first women's team, who will play in the First National Final Four in Pamplona. After securing third place in the league, they will face San Ignacio in the first semifinal on Saturday at 8:00 PM.
Regarding other teams in the region, the Zaldua women's senior team has been promoted to the special category after a great season. After finishing second in the league and winning the Final Four semifinal against Leioa, they lost to Salesianos in the final played in Zaldibar.
