The outdoor swimming pools at San Marcial Txingudi in Irun will open for the season on June 15, operating continuously until September 15. The facility in the Bidasoa region, along with the year-round operational tennis and padel courts, will offer all summer services.
As in previous years, access to the facilities will be organized into two daily time slots: the morning session will run from 11:00 AM to 3:15 PM, and the afternoon session from 4:15 PM to 8:30 PM. Interested individuals must apply for their spot online.
Reservations can be made on the municipal website two days in advance, with slots becoming available daily at 10:00 PM. Adult passes will cost 2.20 euros, and for young people aged 4 to 17, 1.80 euros. Entry is free for children under three years old. Presenting a national ID card will be mandatory for entry. Cancellations must be made via the website or by calling 943 62 72 66 before 11:00 AM or 4:15 PM, depending on the session.
Those who book a slot but do not attend and fail to cancel will face a seven-day penalty, preventing them from making future reservations. Additionally, smoking is strictly prohibited within the entire leisure perimeter. The City Council has reminded the public that the L3 bus line provides access to the complex.
“"We have prepared the pools and I am sure that, as always, the great expectation for their opening will be worth it."
