The month kicks off on October 1st with the 'Adinekoak Gogoz' festival at the Amaia Cultural Center at 17:30. This event will bring together groups from the city's Senior Social Spaces and associations like Gure Altxor, Betiko Ametsa, and Nagusilan, alongside Mayor Cristina Laborda and Social Welfare delegate Josu Iguiñiz.
As part of the special programming for Senior Citizens' Week, the Amaia Cultural Center will host the show 'Sin canas en la lengua' on October 6th, starting at 18:00.
The full program for the month, featuring nearly twenty activities, will take place across various locations:
At the Anaka-Puiana space: a screening of the film 'Lo nunca visto' on October 10th (17:30), a recital by the Abestxoko de Anaka at the Caser Residence on the 23rd (17:30), and a trick-or-treat party on the 28th (17:30).
Behobia is organizing an outing to the 'Adour Bidasoa' exhibition at the Amaia Cultural Center on October 3rd (17:00), followed by a trip to a castanet show at the Intxaurrondo Residence on the 20th (17:00).
Belaskoenea will feature the talk 'Nos vamos de compras' by Kontsumobide on October 21st (17:30), and on the 26th, an outing to the talk 'Cuida tu cerebro' at the Okendo Cultural Center in San Sebastián (18:00).
From Iraso, there will be an outing titled '¡Nos vamos de compras al mercado!' on October 16th (17:00), and on the 26th, a special Halloween craft workshop (17:00).
In Lekanea, on October 15th, a 'Nagusikleta' outing will take place, organized by Nagusilan (17:15).
Luis Mariano will host an outing to the 'Adour Bidasoa' exhibition on October 3rd (17:00), and on the 10th, a film screening will be held for World Mental Health Day (17:00).
Palmera Montero's schedule includes a theater performance by the association Zuentzat on October 16th (17:30), and on the 30th, the film 'La abuela y el forastero' will be screened (17:30).
At San Miguel: the film 'Antonia' will be shown on October 3rd (17:00). On the 7th, Patxi Izaguirre will give a talk titled 'Envejecer de forma elegante' as part of Senior Citizens' Week (17:00), and on October 10th, 'Como reinas' will be screened (17:00).
Finally, Ventas will host an intergenerational activity focused on chestnuts, leaves, and wishes on October 21st (17:00).
