Representatives from the PNV in the Arratia valley have submitted objections to the Bizkaia Provincial Council's draft plan for Bizkaibus services, aiming to strengthen transport connections in the region, including the Lemoa Euskotren station.

Last April, the Bizkaia Provincial Council presented draft proposals for new Bizkaibus services across various regions. These proposals primarily aim to enhance connections with the Metro, Renfe, and Euskotren networks. PNV representatives throughout the Arratia valley announced today that they have sent a series of objections against the proposal drafted by the Department of Transport.
One of the main proposed changes concerns line A3928, which runs from Ugao to Igorre, passing through Zeberio and Artea. The PNV intends to extend this route to the Lemoa Euskotren station and incorporate Zeanuri and Areatza into its itinerary. Improvements are also sought for other lines, such as A3917, where it is requested that the bus reach Ubide and pass through the municipality of Galdakao to “facilitate access to public, health, and commercial services”.
Regarding line A3927, which connects Bilbao and Zeanuri via the highway, the proposal is to maintain the current route while adding a stop at the Galdakao hospital. The objections also include measures aimed at improving youth mobility, by creating a specific service between Zeanuri, Usansolo, and the EHU of Leioa, which would be coordinated with the other regional lines.
