The abertzale coalition has recalled that regulations oblige public authorities to use inclusive language, but after "analyzing the currently valid foral norms" in the territory, it is observed that they maintain linguistic formulas based on the generic masculine of Spanish or non-inclusive structures.

This circumstance occurs particularly in norms approved before the latest regulatory developments in equality matters, the party explained in a statement.

Faced with this situation, EH Bildu wants the Deputation to analyze all current foral norms "to identify those that do not comply with inclusive and non-sexist language criteria". It also proposes that within four months, a report be prepared with priority texts for revision and adaptation proposals.
