Orio achieves double victory at Spanish Trainerilla Championship

The club secured gold medals in both the men's and women's absolute categories in Castro Urdiales.

Orio has achieved a significant double victory this weekend, clinching gold medals in both the men's and women's absolute categories at the Spanish Trainerilla Championship held in Castro Urdiales.

In the men's race, the boat crewed by Diego Pérez, Mikel Lizarralde, Óscar Andrés Medina, Leandro Salvagno, Adrián González, Ander Zabala, and Gorka Aranberri took the top spot. They finished five seconds and 53 hundredths ahead of the second-placed team, Zierbena. Chapela came in third, nearly 27 seconds behind the leaders.
The women's final also saw Orio claim first place. The team, consisting of Itziar Olasagasti, Andrea Oubiña, Claudia Armora, Maddi Alcain, Edith Uranga, Leire Gutiérrez, and Maider Etxaniz, defeated San Juan, who finished second, by a margin of four seconds and 50 hundredths.
In addition to the senior titles, Hibaika secured the silver medal in the women's youth final. The victory in this category went to Ondarroa, while the San Juan trainerilla finished in fourth place.
