The Leioa City Council has put up for auction 27 parking spaces in the Ikeabarri square garage, intended for residents registered in the town.

The Leioa City Council has put up for sale 27 parking spaces in the garage located in Ikeabarri square. The auction process will open this Wednesday and will remain open for 45 calendar days, targeting individuals registered in the municipality, who are of legal age and up-to-date with their tax and Social Security obligations.
This initiative aims to "put into use assets that are currently not necessary for the City Council's own operations," according to municipal sources. It seeks to offer a "stable and orderly alternative" for residents wishing to acquire a parking space, especially given the reduction in available spots in the area due to the construction of a new institute.
Of the 27 plots, 25 range in size from 10 to 18 square meters. The other two are enclosed spaces of 30 square meters that include a storage room. The starting price, set according to municipal appraisal, begins at approximately €34,700 for spaces with storage and ranges from €16,668 to €18,709 for the rest, depending on their size.
