Eibar defeated Córdoba 2-0 at Ipurua thanks to a brace from Javi Martón, keeping their promotion playoff hopes alive.

Eibar kept their promotion hopes alive by defeating Córdoba 2-0 in the penultimate match of the season, with striker Javi Martón scoring both goals.
Martón opened the scoring in the 4th minute after a precise cross from Juan Bernat. He doubled the lead in the 16th minute, capitalizing on another defensive error by Córdoba to make it 2-0.
Córdoba attempted to get back into the game before halftime, with shots from Kevin Medina and Percan hitting the woodwork or being deflected. Despite their efforts, they couldn't find the back of the net.
In the second half, Córdoba pushed for a comeback, but Eibar's defense held firm. Goalkeeper Magunagoitia made crucial saves, including a spectacular stop against Isma Ruiz late in the game.
This victory means Eibar remains in contention for a playoff spot, although their fate is not entirely in their own hands. They trail Castellón and Burgos by two points and will need other results to go their way on the final matchday.
